Fun Fact: Each Page of Your Website Can Target a Unique Phrase and Get Ranked Independently for That Phrase

Think of search engine optimizing your site as each PAGE having the power to rank for a specific phrase of your choosing.

That page gets categorized in Google’s hierarchy of search results INDEPENDENTLY of how other pages of your site perform.

Suppose you’re working on SEO for your real estate website focused on First Time Home Buyers. You’ve targeted the phrase “First-Time Home Buyer Must-Know Checklist” on a single page.

This page could outrank many other pages of your site that aren’t optimized.

The non-SEO optimized pages might still be informative, content-loaded and well-written, sure.

But any page where you haven’t tuned up the SEO will be much less likely found by anyone using Google or other search engines to research first time home buying.
