Dear AWeber, I’m a loyal, long time customer of your email marketing service. Please fix the following issues with the member area in 2025.
Price hike in a bad economy, with worsening features. 🙁
Many people are very upset at your price hike. I wouldn’t really sweat $20 per month, but the quality of what you provide has plummeted.
My AWeber Wish List:
AWeber Email HTML Editor
Bring back the “what you see is what you get” email editor. Sending an email in HTML is so basic that all the major email clients provide this. Why can’t you?
AWeber Send button missing
You removed the Send button in the HTML email area. Bring it back, we need it.
After users send a test email, there isn’t a button anymore for us to just hit send. And there’s also no button or link that would lead you back to the list of drafts. This is unnerving. Please fix.
AWeber subject line disappears
Also fix the subject line area if you have not already. It has been wonky since you made your changes. Sometimes when I’m writing an email there’s no way to add the subject line because it’s disappeared. What the hell?
AWeber no margins issue
When we share direct links to our broadcasts say on social media, there are no margins on the live broadcast page. My email looks bad. No one will sign up after seeing that.
Please fix this. It screams amateur, and we deserve to look good considering you have raised your price on the service you provide, that we use to represent us professionally.
Aweber Server DMARC Thing
Please fix the issue where we have to manually go in and do tech stuff to get our emails to reach particular servers.
I don’t even know what this is called. Verification?? This is a high level, server based tech stuff that we should not have to worry about.
Why is it suddenly so difficult to get our emails to arrive in the inbox?
AWeber Price Increase. Unfair!
Please consider grandfathering in your long time members.
I’m seeing marketers on social media leaving Aweber in droves, and sharing their affiliate links to other email marketing providers so that other users will soon be doing the same.
They’re hungry for commissions, so they’re just making a really big squawk about what a burden your price hike has been.
Speaking of commissions. Why do you hide the AWeber affiliate area?
I just want to be able to grab my link more easily or maybe view stats.
Am I even active? I signed up as an affiliate in 2006 and I have shared links on my sites consistently since that time. I almost never get a commission these days. What is up?
I should not have to seek out customer assistance just to take a peek at my affiliate area. Where did you hide it?
It should be linked directly from the main account area.
I don’t plan on leaving AWeber, but I really would like to be rewarded for my loyalty.
I’m almost at 19 years of sending you money. How about leaving my price to what it was?
I just want to say again that not having that HTML editor is super irritating. Now I can’t work from my phone in your platform. This should not be.
I hope you’ll consider making these changes.
I have two friends that I tried to bring over to your email marketing service, and both of them chose someone else.
It had nothing to do with me, but probably the difficulty in navigating your platform.
